Christmas is fast approaching and so is 2017. This year has been incredible – House of Sheens had launched four new collections and had three successful events – all of which would not have been possible without support from our family, friends, loyal customers, as well as all the lovely people whom we have collaborated and partnered with. It was also our first year participating in Boutiques Fair (look out for us at next year’s Boutiques Fair in March!) and we couldn’t have been more grateful for the opportunity.

Here’s a look back at our 2016:

February 18th – House of Sheens was honored to have three guest speakers – founder of Mercury Group of Companies and co-founder of CRIB Tjin Lee, inspirational speaker & author of “The Devil Couldn’t Break Me” Lurata Lyon, and founder of Magnolia Linens NYC Asema Ahmed – share their personal experiences and entrepreneurship journeys in hopes of inspiring women personally and professionally, at the #InspiringStrongWomen event. Our Fringe collection was also launched on that same evening. Sponsors for this event were Vanilla Luxury, CRIB, 8MRE, Singbev, and Lustre.

June 2nd – At the #InspiringFearlessWomen event, singer-songwriter Jodie Strecker, television host Anita Kapoor, and writer Amanda Blum, were invited to share with guests, stories of how overcoming their fears have led them to success. It was also the launch of our collection Impavido which had gotten a lot of attention due to the spider embellishments that are adorned to all the clutches in this collection as a representation of “overcoming your fears”. This time around, we had CRIB, Singapore Women’s Network, DIVA TV, Bottles XO, Altra Management, and Wildflower, sponsored our event.

October 19th – Co-hosted by The Boutique Society, our third event for the year was held at Aria Roof Bar – this time featuring a fashion show in collaboration with Apparella to showcase our latest collections Younique and Larian. We had Prep Luxe, Miss Petal & Bloom, Hacienda Blue, and Mummyfique onboard too as collaborators for this event.

Once again, we would like to say thank you to everyone who had been a part of our journey in 2016. Have a merry Christmas and an awesome new year!
